Scrutinising sustainability reporting
We participated in a committee of stakeholders set up to scrutinise Hyundai Motor Company’s 2008 sustainability report. We were chosen for the committee because of our sustainability expertise in the auto industry. In this role, we carried out periodic reviews of draft versions of the report and recommended improvements. We also wrote a final statement, which was published in the report. Our work helped build the credibility of the report. In addition, we advised Hyundai on how it could strengthen its future reporting and make further progress towards sustainability.
